Through his books and teachings, the Irish writer often reflected on the profound bond between the Irish language and the supernatural, or otherworld. My own work is similarly rooted in our ancient connection to the land, and this small collection serves as a direct response and tribute to the sentiments he so often expressed.
A pale wash, created from foraged and dried, is layered onto each photographic print to embody the ‘scim’ element of the artwork.
